The memory of Wilbert Edwin Diewert (Chilliwack, British Columbia), born in Vancouver, British Columbia, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Diewert and Martha Diewert; his sister Erma; and his great grandchild Leo of Zwaan. He is survived by: his wife Frieda; his daughters, Lynette (Andre) of Zwaan and Donna Stiles (Gregg); his grandchildren, Ryan (Sara) of Zwaan, Nicole Reimer (Darnell), Mitchell, Conner and Lucas Stiles; his great grandchildren, Jude, Remi, Isla of Zwaan and Lainey Reimer; and his sister Grace Wegner.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chilliwack Alliance Church (8700 Young Rd, Chilliwack, BC V2P4V6).
On one of Wilbert's missions trips to Mozambique, Africa, he was deeply affected by the need for education of pastors in their own country and language, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to One Mission Society Canada.
