He was predeceased by: his daughter Joanne Patricia; his parents, Marie Stoutjesdyk and Jacobus Stoutjesdyk; his brother-in-law Cor Klop; his brother John Stoutjesdyk; and his sister-in-law Jennie.

He is survived by: his wife Rena; his child Janna Maljaars Jim (Jim); his siblings, Adrian Stoutjesdyk (Annette) and Marie Klop; and his siblings-in-law, Corrie Stoutjesdyk and Barend (Bernie). He is also survived by 61 grandchildren and 89 great grandchildren.
