He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Towne and Joann Whieldon; his stepfather Henry Whieldon; and his pet Rin Tin Tin. He is survived by : his siblings, Barton Towne, John Whieldon (Flocerfina) and Linda Whieldon; his nieces and nephews, Connor Towne, Turner Towne, David Whieldon, Meaghan Towne and Kimberly Whieldon; and also, Ted Richter and Millie Remple.

“To the family of Pat Towne. On behalf of my husband, Vern Anderson and myself, his wife Laura, we would like to pay respect to the family on Pat's passing. Pat was a close and dear friend to Vern, they grew up together and have some wonderful memories. We wondered what may have happened to Pat when we got our Christmas card back in '20 . We searched over the many months in the local town obits thinking if he did pass perhaps we would read about it, we just found this today.”
