He was predeceased by : his father Chris; his sister Elsie (Florence); his mother Julia; his son Gary; and his brother Tommy Thompson.
He is survived by : his wife Florence Chartier; his daughters, Gail (Paul Chartier) and Penny (Dan Stefanyshyn); his daughter-in-law Jackie Miller; and his siblings, John (Alice Radmacher), Victor (Doreen Radmacher) and Hilda Thompson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
