Barry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Barry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Barry will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard and Engsie; and his brother Alan. He is survived by: his children, Steven and Deborah; his sisters, Susan (Ken) and Sandra (Danny); his grandson Damon; and his great grandchild Bradley. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Courtenay Civic Cemetery (4768 Is Hwy N, Courtenay, BC V9N5Y7). A reception will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Comox Valley Funeral Home (1101 Ryan Rd, Courtenay, BC V9N3R6).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Children's Hospital of your choosing, in honor of Barry.
