He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Parkin and Edith Parkin; and his siblings, Mary, Wally, Bill, Stan, Marleen and John.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ginny, Harriet (Bill), Donald (Sharon) and Janis (Candis); his children, Gordon (Nicola) and Leighann (Paul); his grandchildren, Allyssa, Jake, Tristan, Innana and Jessica; and his siblings' children, Michael, Deborah, Harold, Jennifer, Jeff, Cindy, Kelly, Bobby, Brian, Karen, Laura, Mary Ann, Jason, Michelle, Samantha and Jessie.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 160 (1825 Comox Ave, Comox, BC V9M3M3).
