He was predeceased by : his parents, William (Bill) and Jennie; and his sisters, Peggie Lafortune (Vern) and Eva Lehto (Harry). He is survived by : his wife Joan; his daughter Janet Bennett; his grandchildren, Brittany (Steve), Megan, Kelsey and Madison; his daughters, Nancy Haugen (Raymond) and Peggie Roth (Bill); his grandchildren, Kayla Kern (Jordan), Thea, Oliver, Christina and Rosa; his great grandchild Hugo; his grandson Logan Roth (Shelby); his great grandchildren, Jillian and Jaclyn; his sister Rena; and his niece Alberta.

Throughout the COVID pandemic, they felt safe and well cared for.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Comox Valley Hospital or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
