Valerie Gene Pearson Obituary
We announce the death of Valerie Gene Pearson of Comox, British Columbia, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 84. Valerie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Valerie will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Valerie will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Valerie’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Pearson and Ines Pearson of Victoria; and her significant other Michael. She is survived by: her siblings, Velva Van Ek and Bob Pearson (Denise) of Victoria. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Piercy's-Mt. Washington Funeral Home (440 England Ave, Courtenay, BC V9N2N1).
