He was predeceased by: his father David; and his brother Derrick. He is survived by: his son Dylan Alksne; his mother Virginia; his sister Teresa; his siblings-in-law, Don and Juliet; his nieces, Katie, Lauren and Alexa; and his nephew Carson. He is also survived by animals especially his dogs and later his rats.
