She was predeceased by: her parents, Dominic Morkin and Maryanne Morkin. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Rensen (Albert) and Barbara Beattie (Brian); her grandchildren, Erin McDearman (Eric), Meghan Vicchio (Ben), Shaun Rensen (Jennifer) and Jamie Rensen (Carla); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Sabrina, Abigail, Isla, Jackson, Harrison, Graysen and Riley; and her husband Douglas King.

“I was thinking about your mom today. Just by chance I wanted to find out about her. We were neighbours on Allard Ave. in Dorval. She got in touch with us when we were living in Bowser, B.C. I believe she was on a trip with family at that time. We didn't get to meet because Rene was not well. What a beautiful kind lady she was.
