She was predeceased by: her brother Gordon Wayne Douglas; and her mother Jennie Mary Douglas. She is survived by: her children, Ross Braes (David Bulmer) and Dena Louise Morro (Pete Morro); her husband James David Scott Bews; her granddaughters, Kristy Morro, Jessica Morro and Amy Morro (Don Murray); and her great grandchild Zaya Morro.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
