Eloise Hilda Tobacca Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eloise Hilda Tobacca (Courtenay, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Boyd (Bill) and Helen Boyd; her brothers, Ralph and Reginald Boyd; her siblings-in-law, Norma, Bonnie Boyd and Steve Cosman; her son Randy Tobacca; and her close friend George Allen.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lowell, Barry Boyd (Karen) and Doris Cosman; her sons, Bruce (Linda), Wayne Tobacca (Karen) and Frank Schuman (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Michele Walls (Chad), Brian Tobacca (Marleah), Kristy Ethier (Richard), Jamie Tobacca (Aimee), Steven Tobacca (Alex), Blake Tobacca (Lindsey), Carrie Sjoberg (Tyler), Raeann Tobacca (Mark), Chris Tobacca (Sheena), Frank Schuman (Erin), Randy Schuman and Cohen Schuman. She is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Piercy's Mt. Washington Funeral Home (440 England Ave, Courtenay, BC V9N2N1).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Glacier View Lodge or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be graciously accepted.
