Ian Norman McLeod Obituary

We announce the death of Ian Norman McLeod of Courtenay, British Columbia, born in Comox, British Columbia, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 76. Ian will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Ian will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Ian will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Ian’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean McLeod and Norman McLeod. He is survived by: his wife Kathy McLeod; his daughter Candice McLeod; his son-in-law Christian Milne; his grandsons, Connor and Colby McLeod-Milne; and his siblings, Heather Richardson (McLeod) and Bruce McLeod.
