She is survived by: her husband Daniel Harty; her siblings, Hugh Smith, Donalda Syrota, Angus "Bud" Smith and Alma Oliver; her sister-in-law Patricia Smith; her siblings, Oakley Smith and Edna Plewis (Art); her sister-in-law Deidre Smith; her daughters, Sarah "Maxine" Farber of Courtenay, BC and Georgina Patterson (Blair) of Oliver, BC.; her stepchildren, Gloria Ducharme Edmonton (Robert), Karen Paquin (Kevin), Daphne Harty of Winnipeg and Raymond Clemmons Langley (Ann); her grandchildren, Shiloh Cooper, Melanie Mortensen, Leigh Mortensen, Laura Rosengren and Shauna Rosengren; and her great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Ella, Kylie, Olivia and Elizabeth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and her extended family.
