We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2023, at the age of 94, Kathleen Lillian Cessford (Courtenay, British Columbia) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathleen Lillian Cessford to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Urquhart and Lillian Urquhart; and her sisters, Maudy, Evelyn and Bev.

She is survived by: her children, Bill (Karen), Sandra (Robin) and Susan; her siblings, Alex (Irene) and Marie; her brother-in-law Ken; her grandchildren, Linda, Rick (Erin), Albert (Marcie), Jacquelyn (Mike), Michelle (Andrew), Tom, Maggie (Jordan), Rob and Madelyn; her great grandchildren, Sydney, Lea, Alex, Matthew, Andrew, Rowan, Isa, Jacob, Hadley and Max; and her great great grandchild Sylvia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and family friends.

She swam 40 lengths of the pool 3 times/week and went to the Lewis Centre gym on days when she wasn't in the pool, right up until Covid stopped her routines and these facilities closed.
