It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy William McKay (Courtenay, British Columbia), born in Comox, British Columbia, who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill McKay and Myrtle McKay; and his brother Glen McKay. He is survived by: his wife Christine McKay; his daughters, Arlene Vogel (Peter), Colleen Hogg (Shane) and Catherine Emmerson (Shawn); his grandchildren, Devin (Kaila), Rebecca Connor (Bryce), Ashley, Tyler, Tasha (Lucas) and Mckenna; and his sister Doreen Ellis (Steve). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
