With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Tonnellier of Courtenay, British Columbia, who passed away on December 31, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sandra has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Crooks and Katherine Crooks of Woodrow; and her former husband Jean Tonnellier of France. She is survived by: her children, Claire and Marc Tonnellier; her siblings, Tim, Jim and Mick Crooks; and her sibling-in-law Henri Saucier. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, partners' family, and friends.
