He was loved and cherished by many people including: partner: Kathy Coulthart-Dewey; children: Derek (Sonia Talwar), Kimberley Menounos (Brian), Rebecca (Gilda Shannon), Tristan (Emily Jamieson), and Eleisa Lambach; step-children: Kristen Cavanagh-Ray (Paul Belhumeur), Adam Cavanagh, and Kris Dewey (Ange); step-mother: Mary Ray; grandchildren: Nathan Menounos, Orrin Menounos, Avalea Ray, Sequoia Ray, Holly Ray-Simard, Brooklyn Ray-Simard, Avani Ray, Elliot Cavanagh, Juliette Cavanagh, Hadley Dewey, and Dillon Dewey; brother: Jeremy Ray (Carol); cousins: Jan Main, Susan Cargill, Simon Read, and Nicola Wilson (Roger); parents: Albert (Bert) H. Ray and Joan M. Ray; former partners: Helen Hayward and Catherine Cavanagh; other: Chris, Jason, Dr. Willem Prinsloo; and many nieces, nephews and their families, as well as British cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kin Beach. He recommitted to his faith and became a Warden and Lay Minister with St John the Divine Anglican Church, During the Covid pandemic, Tim was proud to deliver Celtic Christian services via Zoom from the Garry Oak grove at St. Andrew's church in Comox to those who were not able to gather.
