It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katharine Fredrikson (Cranbrook, British Columbia), born in Kimberley, British Columbia, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Hamilton and Zena Hamilton (Van Oene). She is survived by: her husband Iver; her pets, Barney and Patches; her siblings, Deb McKay (Gary), Lorraine Campbel (Duncan), Ken Hamilton (Sue) and Cliff Hamilton (Cindy); her uncle Bill Van Oene; and her aunt Ellen VanOene. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In her honor, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Cranbrook SPCA.
