With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Neidig (Cranbrook, British Columbia), born in Jansen, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 31, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona Neidig to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Schinkel and Hulda Schinkel; her husband Harold Neidig; and her siblings, Wanda Miller (Schinkel), Walter, Verner, William and Alfred Schinkel.

She is survived by : her children, Richard (Paula), Darren (Sanny), Robert (Melissa), Marilyn Loelke, Sheila Neidig, Susan Halvorson (Ron) and Karen Danyluk (Steve).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kimberley Health-Care Auxiliary at 140 Howard Street, Kimberley, BC V1A2G6.
