He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Gellner and Jacob Gellner; his son Richard Zuk (Rick); his brother Larry Gellner; and his siblings-in-law, Roruy McIvor, Betty Gellner, Kay Gellner and Anna McIvor.

He is survived by: his wife Heather McIvor; his children, Julie Gellner (Adrian Wrona) and Scott Gellner of Cranbook, BC.; his grandchildren, Oscar, Isaac Wrona of Kimberley, Justin and Rachel Zuk; his siblings, Irvin Gellner and Delores Wingert; and his siblings-in-law, Alan and Vera McIvor. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
