She was predeceased by: her husband Karl Schwestak; and her son Kirk Schwestak. She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Wolter; her son-in-law Mike; her grandchildren, Tristan and Natalie Wolter; and her brother Glenn Horrex (Pip). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St Michaels All Angels (2858 Mill St, Chemainus, BC V0R1K1).
