Doreen Vopicka Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen Vopicka (Dawson Creek, British Columbia), born in Farmington, British Columbia, who passed away on September 22, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Frank Vopicka; and her cousin Margaret Comstive. She is survived by: her parents, Mae Bertelson and Harry Bertelson; her friend Dawson Creek; her daughters, Laural and Taryn; and also, Laural Ross (Murray) and Denise Short (Terry).

Doreen continued her travels with friends and family after Frank passed away in 1999 (after a long battle with Alzheimer's) and, with long-time friends in and around Dawson Creek, she continued to enjoy cards and crafts and even became an avid bowler.
