It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ian Eggertson of Dawson Creek, British Columbia, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dave Eggertson and Setta Eggertson; and his brother Eggert. He is survived by : his son Ian Jr. (Anastasia); his friends, Don and Harald; his wife Myrna; his daughters, Ingrid (Jeff) and Kristine (Quentin); his grandchildren, Josh (Emily), Jeremy, Ella, Jackson, Lionel and Severin; and his sisters, Margaret and Bernice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dawson Creek Golf and Country Club (2121 Alaska Hwy, Dawson Creek, BC V1G4E7).

In lieu of donations, Ian's family request that you take your family and loved ones out for a nice meal.
