He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Edinger and Georgina "Pearl" Edinger; his brother George "Buddy" Edinger; his granddaughter Tamara Edinger; his daughter-in-law Shannon Edinger; and his children, Valarie Myatt and Randy Edinger.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Edinger; his siblings, Sharron Billey, Ronaye Matthews and Raymond Edinger; his children, Steve Dyck (Dawn) and Bonnie Clarke (Dean); his grandchildren, Pamyla (Bruce), Alanna, Alysha (Darcy), Rylan, Kiefer, Damien, Chantelle, Miranda, Myles, Stephen, Matthew and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Orianna, Aaryn, Sabastian, Lyndyn, Carson, Blake, Callum, Vincent, Hayden, Sophia and Creston.
