“I have such great memories of Uncle Benny. I remember numerous times of him coming to Calgary to visit us and would always sit on the kitchen floor with my sister and I and tell us stories. He always included us kids. A fondest memory that I hold tight is of us all camping in Osoyoos and Uncle Benny telling us all a story and he had placed a rock in each eye socket and a long blade of grass in his mouth. He had such a personality and such character, a huge sense of humour. I will miss him.”
