He was predeceased by: his parents, Reta Cowan and William Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Cowan; his sons, Derek (Maria) of Florida and Phillip (Nicola) of Delta, BC; his grandchildren, Bennett, Rylie and Oakley; and his sister Diana Roth (Dennis) of Guelph, ON.. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
