She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Lesyk and Anne Lesyk; her husband Arthur Kempthorne (Art); and her son William Kempthorne (Bill). She is survived by: her siblings, Walter, Patricia and Suzanne; her daughter Maryann Kempthorne; her grandchildren, Eleanor and Alec; her sister Olga; her grandson Nate; Tracy. She is also survived by her extended family members, friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Delta Funeral Home (5329 Ladner Trunk Rd, Delta, BC V4K2Z2).
