She was predeceased by: her parents, David Schulz and Mary Schulz; and her daughter-in-law Michelle. She is survived by: her husband Hank Friesen (Church); her sons, Cameron and Kent (Megan); her siblings, Henry Schulz and Lydia Enns; and her siblings-in-law, Kathleen Wiens and Pete Friesen. She is also survived by extended family, and many close friends.
