He is survived by: his mother Carole Williams; his wife Colleen Hill; his daughter Christiane Paplinski (Chris); his sister Susan Garret (Paul); his nephew Mark Garret (Agnessa); his sister Linda Hunter (Bruce); his nephews, Craig, Derek (Kristen) and Cameron; his sister-in-law Diana Bridgen (Jim); his niece Jill Jensen (Garrett); his brother-in-law Brad Hill; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kingston, Walker Garret, Quinn, Hayes Hunter, Liam, Olivia and Mila Jensen.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Dave's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
