Bob Purgavie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bob Purgavie (Duncan, British Columbia), who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his children, Rob (Maura) of Duncan, Bruce (Elaine) of Texada Island and Kate Anderson (John) of Merritt; his parents, Alex and Marguerite; his brother Sandy; and his son Craig. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, 6 (soon to be 7) great grandchildren, and a number of former wives.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the House of Friendship (hofduncan.org) or by tipping large during your next meal at his hangout of many years, the Arbutus Cafe.
