She is survived by: her husband Hendrik; and her children, Lawrence van Boven (Marilyn), Tony van Boven (Tammy), Judy Bouwers, Harold van Boven (Alida), Michael van Boven (Joanne) and Sylvia Ripmeester (David).

He served her faithfully as he cared for her at home for many years as her Alzheimer's progressed.
