He is survived by: his wife Mohinder Kaur Sunnar; his daughter Amrit Kaur Sarkaria; his children-in-law, Sarbjit Singh Sarkaria and Jaskiran Kaur Sunnar; his grandchildren, Manisha (Karandeep Bassi), Jasmin, Vikram, Kiran, Harjan and Jai; and his great grandchild Arjan Singh Bassi.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Duncan Sikh Temple (3210 Sherman Rd, Duncan, BC V9L4B4).
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
