Jagjit Minhas Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jagjit Minhas (Duncan, British Columbia), who passed away at the age of 89, on March 12, 2018. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bhagwan Singh and Thakri Kaur Janjua; her husband Sarup Singh; her daughter Devinder Kaur; and her siblings, Parkash, Gurdash, Gurbachan, Naranjan, Budha and Sankri.

She is survived by: her husband Jagjit; her daughters, Ranjit Kaur Parmar (late Gurbax Singh), Balinder Kaur Parmar (Amrik Singh) and Manjit Kaur Parmar (Sangram Singh); her sisters, Surinder Kaur and Paro Kaur; her son-in-law Jiwan Singh Parmar (late Devinder Kaur); and also India. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jagjits's honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the B.C. Lung Association.
