We announce the death of Kathleen (Kathy) Howes (Duncan, British Columbia), born in Westlock, Alberta, who passed away on May 24, 2026, at the age of 72. Kathleen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Key and Agnes Key. She is survived by: her husband Rob Howes; her children, Erika Brown (Andrew), Craig Howes and Kurtis Howes; her grandchildren, Holden Brown, Amelie Brown and Aya Howes; her siblings, George Key (Deborah), Lorne Key (Faye), Eric Key (Bonnie), David Key (Cindi), Robert Key and Ruth Lynch (Kevin); her sister-in-law Gillian Ross (John); her friend Kate Goetz-Hilman; her son Rob; Remy.
