He was predeceased by: his parents, Hedwig Kuhn and Bernhard Kuhn; his stepfather Josef; and his brother Bernhard (Hardy). He is survived by: his former wife Loring (Les); his children, Martin (Carol) and Stephanie (Neil); and his grandchildren, Sophie and Carson.
