We announce the death of Larry McKinnon (Duncan, British Columbia), who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 72. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his children, Jason and Lana; his parents, John McKinnon and Yvonne McKinnon; and his sister Renea.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his sons, Christopher and Steven (Sarah); his grandchildren, Rose, Lily and Jasper; and his siblings, Maurice (Lynne), Maureen, Roger and Rick.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mellor Hall (7380 Trans-Canada Hwy, Duncan, BC V9L6B1).
In lieu of flowers, Larry would be honored by donations to the Duncan Junior Baseball Association, reflecting his lifelong love of baseball and the many memories it brought him.
