She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Bacon and Marion Bacon. She is survived by: her husband Leighton Mellemstrand of Duncan; her children, Grant (Naomi) and Lynn (Ralph); her grandchildren, Lora, Kenneth, Noah and Sam; and her siblings, Don (Caroline) and Valerie (Neil). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lora Mellemstrand on June 2, 2018 after an extended battle with Alzheimer's disease.
