He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Hubert Dumont and Margaret (Winterburn); and his children, Jim, Robert, Joan and Ronald.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth, Richard, Catherine, Elizabeth, Norman and Barbara; and his cousins, Rea and Betty. He is also survived by six siblings and several brothers and sisters-in-law, he leaves behind dozens of nieces and nephews.
