Derek Troy Barkman Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 18, 2025, at the age of 48, Derek Troy Barkman (Enderby, British Columbia), born in Spirit River, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Derek Troy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Derek Troy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Barkman; and his wife Pauline Ruth Barkman "Woods". He is survived by: his mother Yvonne Barkman; his brother Kevin Barkman; his sons, Colton James, Spencer Ray and Dexter Stewart Barkman; Samantha Jane Seafoot.
