It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Byron Gieni in Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Gieni (Ron); his stepfather Ken Hutchison; his father-in-law Thomas Harrison; his uncle Ross Gieni (Susan); and his aunt Jill Gieni.
He is survived by: his wife Heather Harrison; his daughter Addy; his mother Joyce Hutchison; his sisters, Jennifer Gierent (Gieni), Sarah Hutchison (Jason Wong), Brittany Hutchison and Meghan Hutchison (Christopher Plessis); his siblings' children, Kaden, Fern Gierent, Tyler, Cameron Plessis, Laura and Simon Wong; his mother-in-law Diane Harrison; his brother-in-law Thomas Harrison (Kathy); his aunts and uncles, Peter Gieni, Brian Gieni (Rita), Michael Gieni (Roz), Leonard Gieni, Barrie Rooks (Sandy), Patricia Ollinger, Leona Dwyer (Albert), Noreen Peters and Brenda Gieni; Rex.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Country Hills Crematorium (11995 16 St NE, Calgary, AB T3K5Y7).
