We bid farewell to Edward Shillito (Fanny Bay, British Columbia), born in Chemainus, British Columbia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 24, 2026 at the age of 78. Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Edward had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Edward may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Dugald Shillito (Jennifer) and Robyn Green (Nathan); and his grandchildren, Jillian, Charlotte Shillito, William and Elliot Green.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Fanny Bay Community Hall (7793 Island Hwy S, Fanny Bay, BC V0R1W0).
