Diane Stothers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Stothers (Fernie, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 14, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Diane may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vancouver and Elva Jane. She is survived by: her significant other Brian Brownie; her sister Suzanne; her daughters, Tracy (Paul), Sarah (Tim) and Suzanne; her brothers, David and Roderick; California. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and great-granddaughter; and her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Twin Meadows Animal Rescue Society, the BC Cancer Society, or the Fernie and District Arts Council.
