He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his sons, Justin (Kathy) and Blake (Alicia); his siblings, Brian (Susan), Ken (Lyn), Claude (Grace), Jim (Shelley), Fred (Julie) and Diane; his nephews, Matt and Wade (Amber); and his grandchildren, Katlyn Thompson, Leah Thompson, Conor Thompson and Hadley Thompson.
