It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gizella Doka (Fernie, British Columbia), who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gizella farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gizella is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband László (Les); and her sons, William (Bill) and Leslie (Jesse). She is survived by: her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Teri; her grandsons, Adam and Geoff; and her great grandchildren, László and Viggo.
