He was predeceased by : his son Delbert; his parents, William Hickerson and Helen Hickerson; and his siblings, Edward Hickerson, Jessie Enge, Irene Alex and Shirley Ford.
He is survived by : his wife Lily Fae; his children, Christopher (Desiree) of Cranbrook, BC, Leslee (Michael) of Fernie, BC and Jennifer of Brisbane, Australia; his siblings, Bill Hickerson, Frank Hickerson (Frieda), Florence Kemp, Donna Opie (Willie) and Lois Topping; his sister-in-law Mabel Hickerson; his grandchildren, Lorne, Nathan, Rae-Lynn, Kaarina, Sami, Shelby and Jessie; and his great grandchildren, Matthias and Kaiden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
