It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Lou Meunier (Fernie, British Columbia), who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husbands, George Soetaert and Noel Meunier; and her brother Eric Bokenfohr. She is survived by : her sons, Lyle Soetaert (Kathy) and Shayne Soetaert (Mary-Jane); her adoptive daughter Joelle Chelkowski (Ben); her grandchildren, Nichelle, Grayson, Emma, Holly, Leah, Emily, Jack and Julia; her great grandchild Daxton; and her sister Marion Friedrich. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
