She was predeceased by: her parents, Delford and Audrey; and her brother Neil. She is survived by: her brother David; her niece Jennifer; and her husband Patrick Burke.
She was a member of the Fernie Quilters Guild where she not only exhibited beautiful quilts as works of art but also made quilts for charity.
