He was predeceased by : his parents, Giuseppi Gentile and Rosalia Gentile. He is survived by : his wife Louise; his children, Joey Gentile, J. P. Gentile (Shauna Grant) and Rose Gentile (Ben Salter); his grandchildren, Dante, Dario Gentile, MiKayla, Emmerson Gentile, Jensen and Harrison Salter; and his siblings, Maria Leo (Benny), John Gentile (Brenda Yung) and Frank Gentile (Shirley Aguinaldo). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.

Donations may be made in Louis' memory to the Jack Ady Cancer Center, Lethbridge, or to Friends for Friends, Fernie.
