It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Salus (Fernie, British Columbia), born in Coleman, Alberta, who passed away on March 14, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Victor Siska and Annie Siska; her husband John Salus; her brothers, George, Andrew and James Siska; and her parents-in-law, Mary, Willy Panek, Joe Salus, Andrew Salus, Eileen Siska, Kathleen Siska and Annie Dobek.
She is survived by : her children, Tom (Diana) of Blairmore, AB and Valdene Salant; her son-in-law Bruce Salant of Jaffray, BC; her grandchildren, Jill, Jason Salus, Dawnelle and Ryan Salant (Chantelle); her great grandchild Kayleigh Salant; her sister Doreen Karasiuk (Al) of Wasaga Beach, ON; and her sister-in-law Helen Salus of Medicine Hat, AB. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
